More squats

Today being Monday of course was legs and glutes day. It felt so good working out. I warmed up on the elliptical then did the hip abductor, leg curls, leg extensions squat press, smith squats and finished up with some burn outs on my legs and cooled down on the stairclimber. Oh btw I do 4sets of 12-18 reps. I can already feel some soreness which is my favorite thing ever!
Now to relax with the kids and get cookies made and watch some good movies. Eeeek yay for Christmas Eve.

Killed it

Man oh man! I told myself I was going to go a bit crazy today at the gym. So I mixed up my pre-workout (Herbalife24 Prepare...best pre-workout EVER) and I did my shoulders and arms. When I left the gym my arms were trembling. That's how I knew it was a successful day at the gym :-D went to push the door and was like ugh I wish it was an automatic door.
I came home and literally crashed on my bed. I have only done minor things since then and let me tell you I am ALREADY sore. Tomorrow will be a nightmare. I love it <3
I went to do my first shoulder exercise, dumbbell shoulder press, and could see toning and defining and ill be damned if my shoulders are coming in quite nicely! It's an amazing feeling seeing the fruit of all my labor one body part at a time. I'm so excited. Now if I could just start seeing results in my chest. It's the hardest body part for me to workout. This Mama's Busy

Dang I can't believe its already Thursday. Where has the week gone? Better yet I cant believe Christmas is a few days away.
Between the four kids Christmas parties at school my week has flown by. Tonight I plan on going absolutely ham in the gym.
I haven't been since Monday and I hate that I'm out of my routine. Looks like I need to dust off the workout videos and get it in when I can regardless if I can't make it to the gym.
Oh yea and by the way my husband broke his wrist trying to be Lebron last night against some inexperienced (for a lack of better word) goons. The night was spent in the ER and its for certain surgery is in his future. He didn't sleep hardly at all and as of yet hasn't made it into the office. I had to literally get him dressed one leg at a time this morning. He thought he was funny and said "this must be what it feels like to be rich" I should have punched him in his arm. Hahahahaha funny guy? -____- so here's to taking care of a 36 year old baby. Wish me luck ~Mamas Runnin'~

Squats

Today was the first day back in the gym since Wednesday. Remind me to never do that again! Mondays and Fridays are legs and glutes well I've been slacking so today was full of squats and I'm pretty sure I was walking out of the gym a little funny. I'm already sore!! I love it!! Cheers to muscles soreness! Can't wait to go for a real run tonight. Wish me luck it's cold ~Mamas Runnin~

The Flu

Soooo a little update ALL FOUR of my kids have the flu. I haven't made it to the gym since Monday. I hate it when that happens. I've been so busy here at home. My alarm is set for every three hours...I line the kiddos up take temps and pass out meds. Ive watched so many cartoons ive caught myself singing Spongebob and Dora christmas songs. I have been scrubbing the kids rooms, disinfecting and deodorizing the house. I think I even lysoled myself. 😷 I scared the crap out of myself when I looked in the mirror.
I'm about to leave the kiddos with grandpa while I go for a run. I hate running in the cold but i'll take whatever I can get. Then at some point I'm going to sneak away and go to the gym for shoulders and arms. I need some muscle soreness in my life. Wish me luck ~Mamas Runnin'~

Results and more results

Oh man this Squat-A-Thon is kicking my ass...literally! I don't know if anyone else is seeing results but man oh man can I see my butt lifting and firming! I <3 it! My thighs aren't touching anymore which is a HUGE accomplishment but better yet Saturday night you could see my muscle definition through my jeans! Hahaha now that's what I'm talking about! I'm getting ready to head to the gym for legs and glutes. Yesterday I did chest and back and I don't know if I just didn't go heavy enough or what but I'm not sore....what a disappointment. I am slowly moving up in weights :-) so I am getting stronger for sure. I can't believe I'm almost halfway to my 5k so it looks like ill be going for a long run tonight. Wish it wasn't so dang cold outside I prefer pavement over the treadmill. Adios for now ~Mamas Runnin~

I've been hard at work

So it's almost been a week since my last entry but that does not mean I haven't been hard at work. Let me get you up to speed on what I've been up to. We last left off with me raving about how much I love Herbalifes Post workout recovery shake, Rebuild Strength. Well Friday I got legs and glutes in. I was so excited to use my new ankle strap for cable kick backs. Loved it!!! Saturday was a much needed of day. But Sunday I was back in the gym hitting it hard with my husband. We did chest and I finished off my workout with a 2 mile run. It felt fantastic. Monday I worked out late but whooped my own ass with glutes and legs again. I work them out twice a week. Gotta get it right get it tight. I started with a 7 min. bike warm up, then went straight into my workout. I fell in love with the Smith Machine all over again. I mastered a new squat and here it is two days later and my cheeks are still hurting! #WINNING. I didn't make it back to the gym yesterday for shoulders so it looks like ill be doing shoulders today and getting a good run in. Wish me luck ~Mamas Runnin~
