I had this bright idea to run a 5k before I turn 30. Here it is almost three months away from my 30th birthday and I'm 8 weeks out from my first 5k. I decided to use an app on my phone and start training by using it 3x a week. I got on the treadmill today and to my surprise did alright. Week1/Day1 was run 60 seconds walk 90 seconds for 30 minutes. I finished up my night at the gym with abs. UGH! Back to the gym tomorrow for weights and running again on Wednesday.
As I sit here drinking my Rebuild Endurance (recovery) shake and looking at my before pics I can't wait to see where this journey takes me over the next 8 weeks! Stay tuned this should get interesting. ~This Mama's Runnin'~
